In particular, this collection of the best personal finance podcasts has helped shift my entire financial journey and outlook on money. Podcasts are truly one of the top free money education resources available.

ChooseFI, hosted by Jonathan and Brad, is a 5-star, A+ personal finance podcast focusing on financial independence. They deep dive on a specific topic each week aimed with helping you reach the power that financial freedom provides.
It’s an amazing way to start a Monday morning commute to work.
Their guests include some of the most respected personal finance, investing and entrepreneurial bloggers, podcasters and thought-leaders. It’s a must listen.
BiggerPockets Money Show
BiggerPockets is the uber popular real estate business empire (website, podcast, books , blog, etc.). In 2018 they launched the BiggerPockets Money Show and it’s been an amazing addition to the personal finance airwaves.
The hosts, Mindy and Scott, welcome guests from all ranges of the financial world. Collectively they do a great job of providing actionable advice you can implement in your life.
From saving more money, diversifying income streams, investing the “right way” for retirement and everything in between, this show hits all areas.
The Stacking Benjamins Show
The 2017 Academy of Podcast Winner for “Best Business Podcast of the Year” and Plutus Award Winner for “Best Personal Finance Podcast”, The Stacking Benjamins Show.

Afford Anything
Next up we have Afford Anything from Paula Pant. From real estate and travel to investing and building your own business, this podcast runs the financial gamut.

The Financial Grownup Podcast
Bobbi Rebell hosts the The Financial Grownup Podcast that publishes shorter-form 14 – 17 minute episodes.
Each episode Bobbi’s guest shares a money story and a money lesson that has impacted their lives. The past guests include names like Kevin O’Leary, David Bach and some of the great podcasts included in this list like Farnoosh Torabi, Shannah Game and Joe Saul-Sehy.

This is a new podcast recently launched by Jason from The Wealth Hound blog. The dude is a natural podcaster, that’s apparent from episode 1.
The show aims to help everyday people with their personal finances, investing and money.

The Millennial Money podcast is hosted by Shannah Compton Game, an award-winning millennial financial strategist, Certified Financial Planner Professional and author.

Shannah’s personality shines through in each episode and she brings out the best in her guests.
HerMoney
If you’re looking for financial advice from the female perspective, HerMoney is an amazing resource. Andy Wang brings us the Inspired Money Podcast each and every Tuesday. Andy was named a top influential financial advisor by Investopedia and sets forth the goal of helping listeners improve their money mindset.

Mo’ Money Podcast with Jessica Moorhouse
Jessica Moorhouse hosts the great Mo’ Money Podcast. This show is on their 8th season of publishing episodes focused around money management, investing, taking control of your personal finances and more.

Hosted by Chris Guillebeau, a NY Times best-selling author, the Side Hustle School podcast releases daily episodes.
The podcast shares stories of entrepreneurs with the goal of providing listeners meaningful examples on how to earn extra income. The range of guests Chris has had own the show really help highlight just how many opportunities there are to make extra cash.
The show is at 550+ episodes so there is a whole library of side hustle knowledge to dive into.
Optimal Finance Daily
Part of the OLD (Optimal Living Daily) podcast collection, Optimal Finance Daily brings listeners the best content from blogs focused on personal finance.
It’s essentially a “blogcast” as the narrator reads blog posts, old and recent, from experts and popular authors in the finance community. The 600+ episodes are short in length, generally 6 – 9 minutes and get released each weekday.

In conjunction with Optimal Finance Daily is another member of the OLD network: Optimal Business Daily.

FIRE Drill Podcast
The Fire DRILL Podcast duo returns on Sunday’s to publish another episode every weekend.

There are amazing podcasts that only release podcasts periodically. When I see new episodes from these shows pop into the playlist, that’s always a big plus.
However, you can go back through their collection of past episodes to keep your weekend playlist full.
The Financial Independence Podcast
The man, the myth, the legend – the Mad Fientist and his The Financial Independence Podcast. His first guest back in 2012 was Mr. Money Mustache…and he hasn’t looked back since.
His publishing schedule is infrequent but the episodes he has released are of the highest quality. His deep dive interviews with his guests open up the door to the strategies, mindset and benefits of financial independence.
The whole library of episodes are must-listen content.
Canadian Couch Potato Podcast
Hosted by Dan Bortolotti, aka the extremely popular Canadian Couch Potato, is a podcast featuring expert interviews, helpful tips for DIY investors, and answers to questions from listeners and blog readers.
While the podcast may be hosted by a Canadian, the content and strategies discussed are applicable to all investors.
The library currently only includes 18 episodes but they’re all packed with value.
Well Kept Wallet Podcast
As described by Deacon, the Well Kept Wallet Podcast is all about getting you from where you are to where you want to be when it comes to your career, money, and lifestyle.
Deacon interviews people from all walks of life and careers who love what they do for a living. Right now he’s publishing once or twice a month but has a library of almost 100 episodes.
Financial Freedom Podcast
Grant from Millennial Money (the blog) and Millennial Money Minutes (podcast mentioned in the next section) has launched a new podcast.
The Financial Freedom Podcast is Grant’s latest project. The show is aptly named in unison with his upcoming book release. At the time of writing this post he’s only released 1 episode.
However, based on Grant’s blog and previous podcast, this is going to be an awesome show.
His And Her FI
Charles and Bethany launched their podcast, His And Her FI, in 2018 and have recorded 24+ episodes. The topics range from financial freedom and travel hacking to entrepreneurship.
The show releases new episodes every couple of weeks but they’re a great listen every time. Dive into their library of episodes and stay connected as new shows get released.
Build Wealth Canada
Build Wealth Canada is hosted by Kornel Szrejber. Currently he’s publishing 1-2 episodes per month.
The format of the show is interviews with experts on building wealth in Canada. Plus he shares his own tips & guides on becoming debt free, investing, and earning a passive income.
Archives From Two Of The Best Finance Podcasts
The weekend also gives you the opportunity to go back through two of the best personal finance podcasts that are no longer publishing new episodes. Dig into the archives and touch up on hundreds of hours of finance content.
Masters of Money
The man behind the PT Money blog & creator of FinCon, Phil Taylor, hosts The Masters of Money Podcast.
Currently sitting at 50+ episodes, the show features interviews with experts from the world of personal finance, financial independence and investing. Each interview provides tons of value and tactical takeaways to help you start to take control of your finances.
PT hasn’t released new episodes since December 2017 but the back catalogue is one of the best of any personal finance podcast.
Millennial Money Minutes
Millennial Money Minutes was a short-form personal finance podcast hosted by Grant Sabatier of Millennial Money and Matt Zubricki of Distilled Dollar.
I say “was” as it looks like they’ve stopped releasing episodes and Grant has launched a new podcast The Financial Freedom Podcast.
However, the library of Millennial Money Minutes includes over 280+ episodes. Each episode focuses on one topic and generally runs 6-11 minutes.
